Tonight was the final "Let's Play Music" party at "Pump It Up"- celebrating the completion of 3 years! First year... very easy. Second year- more time consuming, third year- ridiculously difficult. I didn't even know what they were doing half of the time. Some kids are going to do a year of piano or some other instrument, then repeat the third year. We might do that. We already have a new piano teacher starting mid-June, and she is familiar with the "Let's Play Music" curriculum. It will be strange not spending every Wednesday night at Ms. Janalee's house with Zeek Coyle, Scotty Larson, Jasmine and Ciera Leone. Those four have been together the whole three years!

This weekend is the recital for the 3rd year students. We will miss it because of a ballet recital rehearsal. Jasmine is going to play her composition "Butterflies Flying" at the first and second year students recital on May 17th- which is where she will also meet her new piano teacher:)
