ND Adoption Camp....

This weekend, we attended the ND Post Adopt Winter Camp in Medina, ND- just outside of Bismarck. It wasn't exactly "camping" since it was -11 degrees most of the time. We mostly did crafts together, played games, and had various adoption discussions. We made a double decker kitty!Single decker kitty before we finished it!Our "respite family"- the Evensens were there too! Here they are with the rocket ship they built. Minute to win it game! I think it was this game where Jasmine won gift certificates to "Pizza Ranch":) Playing "carpet bomb" game with Jocelyn and Abigail Evensen. One of the crafts we made- not done yet- still have to put our names and dates on it!Playing a game with the Evensen's- Todd, Jocelyn, Natalie, Abigail, Jasmine. This is a photo of the lake!! There is a huge slide- obviously not in use now, a large place on the ice cleared off for ice skating, holes for ice fishing- but it was just too cold to have activities outside. We did lots of other things indoors thought- roller skating, rock climbing, and basketball!

Jasmine is a puzzle wizard!

I keep trying to find more and more complicated puzzles- rounded edges, over 1000 pieces, etc., but she seems to be able to figure it out pretty quickly:) Stefani posing next to Jasmine's stuffed dog:)

Big Sister dates:)

Every two weeks, Jasmine goes on a "date" with Marissa Johnson, her "Big Sister". Sometimes they just go out to get ice cream, go to the library, the mall, or just stay home and play a board game. This time they went to "Creatively Uncorked"- a painting event place in downtown Fargo. The painting subject was "Unicorns" - which is why it was so popular with little girls:) Concentrating!
