So shocked and saddened to read about Dan, a great guy that always knew how to make us laugh or smile or to see silver linings in dark clouds. Judy, your words described him to a tee. I think the only thing you left out was how much he loved Lady, that big, friendly, lovable pooch that your family had in the ‘70s.
But what happened to our old friend, Dan?? Heart attack? Accident? Or had Danny been sick for a while?
Our deepest sympathies to you and your mom.
Thanks.... are you a friend of his from school? He died from self inflicted alcohol -induced generalized organ failure.
Thanks for your quick reply, Judy, and we’re so very sorry to hear this happened!! Yes, we certainly did know Dan in school, clear back to his first grade class at Gahanna Lincoln.
