Our rink.....

Here's our rink- Ice Den Chandler- having a 3 Million dollar renovation. It's completely gutted right now. We are skating at Gilbert Polar Ice now with all new instructors, except for Rozaline of course. There is a class for little figure skaters called "Conditioning for Figure Skaters". They do all types of spins on the floor, abdominal conditioning, jumps, etc to develop the body memory for when they are older. It is taught by JJ Barksdale- the general manager and skating instructor at Gilbert Polar Ice. I guess since it was the day before Easter, Jazzy was the only one there so she got a private lesson:) I don't have photos- only video. Here's our rink looking like a bomb went off.

Skateland

Jasmine spent the day yesterday with Amber and Heidi Thomas, friends from kindergarten- as well as their mom and dad. They went to Skateland. Here they all are when I picked Jazzy up. Amber, Jasmine, Heidi, and their dad. Amber's dad, their mom Colleen, Heidi and Jasmine. Heidi, Amber and Jasmine.

Community Garage Sale today.....

Usually we try not to participate in this, but we had some things to sell. Plus, any funds go to our Vietnam trip account. I told Jasmine that if she spoke to someone,... just a simple "Hi, how are you".. she could have any profit in change from that transaction. I think she spoke to only one person:( and that person spoke to her first. She made 50cents on that. We made a whopping 178.00 for our trip and the garage is a bit cleaner. Our street looked like a street fair, lots of people, cars- the most busy I've ever seen it. Here's Jasmine working hard at the garage sale!!

Tooth Fairy....

Jasmine lost a tooth yesterday, and she wrote a note to the toothfairy. The toothfairy wrote on the back and said that she doesn't visit little kids who paint rocks white and red, then try to pass them off as teeth:) The fairy left 5.00 and a 1970 Tanzania coin for Jasmine's coin collection. It has a zebra on it, and since this is the year of the horse, the toothfairy thought it was pretty close to a horse:)

Horse Hands 1 is complete. No zoo until the fall:) Yeah!! Cathy (Hope's mom) is going to email me photos from today!

3rd Horse Hands ......

Next week, Hope's mom Cathy is taking Jasmine and Hope to Horse Hands. PLUS Jasmine is spending the night with them. Twenty four hours to myself... Yeah!! Stingray bay- Jasmine has yet to touch, let alone pet one of the stingrays- after multiple visits. Hope was fine with it! The little stingrays are actually are very friendly.. kind of like dolphins. Then, I purchased fish for the girls to feed to the stingrays. Neither one of them would do it, so I ended up giving the fish to another little girl:( Getting ready to put on the saddle! Learning how to put on a bridle. Part of their class is in the barn, and the parents usually sit outside on the bleachers. The other part of the class is held in the arena. The whole time I kept hearing "HopeJasmine"..."HopeJasmine- no running", HopeJasmine- where are you going"... "HopeJasmine- what are you doing"? All one name..."HopeJasmine":))) We had a fun day, but I sure am glad I don't have to go back to the zoo until the fall:))
