Stephani photos....

Jasmine found a few of Stefani's baby pictures on the Cat's Cradle website. Looks like she has some little eye goobers:) She is laying on top of her sister "Gwen":) Stephani's two little brothers look exactly the same...Blake and Shelton. Jasmine had a sleepover the other night with her friend. Stephani got into Jasmine's sleeping bag:)

Holiday Inn 11th Birthday Party!

Apparently, the Holiday Inn in the big place to go for parties in general. They have a big indoor pirate pool with slides and a jacuzzi. The party also included a room right off of the pool where everyone could change, Domino's pizzas, yukky soft drinks and lots of swimming. Everyone swam, scarfed down the pizza, swam some more, had cake and opened presents. It was a fun day since it was cold and rainy outside, plus it was a day off school due to teacher's meetings:) Swimming....Paige and JasmineSantana, Jasmine, Paige Eating pizza...Samanta, Tana, Jasmine, Myah, Sadie, Gina, Rico, Hailey, Paige A balloon at Jasmine's party which depicts her demeanor for the day...

Fargo Parks and Rec Class

Fargo Parks and Recreation has a bee bee class for kids 8-12yrs. It was fun- sort of. Jasmine was her usual "know it all" self. Total smart elec. The instructor told her that she was shooting low. Later she said to me "Well, they needed to move the target up"!! So typical. She was very serious when she said that!!! Everything is everyone else's fault- nothing to do with her. Then she asked me if we could go out to eat after the class. Heck NO! You can go home and eat a can of soup...which is what she did! Hopefully, next week will be better. It's a 4 week class, then after that is an "air rifle" class, then MY classes. Total dufus- I thought the class was at 6:30. Nope- 6PM. We were late:(. Then, the first thing the guy says is "be careful not to step on the bee bee box". So, what do I do...step on the box. Thousands of bee bees fly everywhere. They had to get a big magnet and pick them all up. Ugghh...not a good evening for either of us:))

First day of Sixth Grade....

First day of 6th grade at Liberty Middle School. 1300 kids in the school. There are around 500 just in 6th grade. They are divided into groups with names like Siberia, Amazon, Pathfinder, Infinity, etc. Then there is "A"sub- group and "B" sub-group in each group. Jasmine is in "Siberia"- which kind of makes sense since her group is located on the third floor clear in the back of the building. It's quite a hike to get up there. The good thing is that the walls of the third floor are made of clear plexiglass. You can see all around the entire city from the third floor. All of the rooms are much more interesting than when I was in school. There are definitely rows of desks, but the rooms are much larger with a "living room" and "kitchen" set up in each room. They can sit on couches, tables and chairs, or their desks. Very homey! Here is Jasmine all ready for 6th grade. I actually did comb her hair very nicely, but she "re-did" it:(

Swimming at the Holiday Inn....

Jazzy spent the night with our friends Mick, Michelle and Myah Klein at the Fargo Holiday Inn. Myah is Jasmine's 3 yr old friend with whom she plays on an almost daily basis. Mick is a musician and is working at the Holiday Inn this weekend. When he plays there, he gets a free night stay, meals and several swimming passes. Last night, Jasmine, Myah, and other neighbors-Tana, Rico and probably others went swimming at the big popular indoor pool at the Holiday Inn. Jasmine and Tana spent the night at the hotel with Myah and her family. Apparently, they swam until late at night and ate pizza. They got up at 8 AM and started swimming again. They are still there swimming- all day long! I hope she's REALLY tired! Myah, Jasmine, Tana.

Back from Elk River....

8 hours of driving today! "Mommy, this was the best camp of the summer" - which is what I heard about all the other camps! "Can I come back to this one next year?" Uh- nope! Here's some stuff from camp: patches, magnets, a post card, an "Elk River" snow globe, Elk River stuffed animals, Girl Scout crank flashlight- as if we needed more of those, and a lanyard with her "badges"- 2017 Elk River, Archery, Happy Birthday, Hiking Club, and Rockin Robin. Apparently, they had to choose what to do early in the morning- a Polar Plunge every morning for the Polar Plunge badge- which Jasmine will never do, or morning crafts for the Rockin Robin badge:) Crafts by Jasmine: a candle, tie dyed socks, along with an "achievement card" for archery, and her Elk River pencil. Nametag- Clay creations- Happy Vietnamese Birthday celebration- She says she had two "small" cupcakes. uh huh- Friends from camp- As much fun as it was, I'm fairly sure we won't be going back next year due to the distance!
