Weekend fun....

Today we had a fun day. After going to New Vision's and Whole Foods Market for lunch... which we do almost every Sunday, we went to the mall. I typically am not a mall person and despise shopping, but we had a fun day. First, Jazzy got her ears pierced!! She took it really well, just a little jump. She got some pretty diamond earrings and a pair of butterfly earrings to wear later. As a gift, she got a little Hello Kitty purse. Then we went to play at the indoor playground for about 45 minutes. It was kind of uh..... boring for me.... but alot of fun for her. I had the video camera with me and did alot of recording.... of the ear piercing event as well. We then went to Border's Books and played and listened to music and bought a new sundress at A Child's Place.

Surprise..... when we came home... we had a new kitten:) She looks to be about 4 weeks old. Our neighbors (Grandpa in particular) has been feeding some ferel cats, so I suspect that is where she has come from. She is a little grey tabby, and has no name yet. Right now she is living in the walk in shower. I will post some photos of her soon.

Jazzy's bird...

We're going to put Jasmine's bird on a display board in her bedroom. The days are now over 100 degrees, and we will be spending alot of time indoors making stuff and having fun.

Crafting......

Today we had fun fingerpainting and making crafts. Jazz made a little bird for cousin Jade, a kite for JD, and a painted rock for Grandma and Grandpa. Later we personally delivered them. Here is Jasmine and Jade playing, giving Jade her bird, and Jasmine fingerpainting.

Best Friends....

Bread fetish.....

Jazz is a bread monster. If she sees a piece of bread, she starts yelling "bread, bread, bread". If I give her bread with her meal, she won't eat anything else. So now we have to have the regular meal first, then a little bite or piece of bread for "dessert".

We have a busy summer coming up- swimming lessons, a class called "adventureland" on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, and a music class on Fridays. I hope I am not overdoing the classes, for my own sake. I am not sure what the Adventureland class is, but we will find out in June. There is a different theme every week and I think they do crafts and music to that theme... my guess anyway.
Last Friday night, we went to a concert in the park. We took Spirit with us. There were alot of dogs there and Spirit chose one yellow Lab to go after. I wasn't expecting it to happen and wasn't holding onto her very tightly. She got away from me and ran at full speed right in front of the audience and jumped on the other dog. It was funny and embarassing. I got quite a few dirty looks from the grumpy snowbirds. I will be happy when they go away.......

Jasmine sleeps in her own bed now. When she first came home, she had never slept by herself before, so I couldn't see just putting her in her own room at that time. We started out playing in her room from the very beginning so she would get used to it. It took only a couple of days to adjust. She pretty much always sleeps on her back with her hands behind her head:)

Jazzy's Easter dress....

We didn't go anywhere on Easter, so she didn't wear her dress, but we are going to Phoenix today so she has a chance to wear it:)
