New glasses:)

Jazzy got new glasses today. I think they are kind of dark and harsh for her, but she loves them because of the butterfly on the side:) She's the one who has to wear them!

Fiesta Skate....

So, we had to drive all the way to the west side of town (Peoria) on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was Artistic Light "I Wanna Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart" by LeAnn Rimes. Jasmine doesn't like the song because she says she doesn't want to be a cowboy's sweetheart. Rozaline said.."ok, how about a hamster sweetheart?". She was thinking that Jasmine had a hamster instead of a guinea pig. Then Sunday was "Somewhere Out There" for her Dramatic Program. Paolina and Jasmine:) Went out to eat on Saturday night!

My Easter card:)

Jasmine finally opened a card making kit I bought a long time ago, and has started making greeting cards. Here is my Easter card- the first one she made. It is addressed to "Judy" rather than "Mommy":))) and inside it says "Have a sweet Easter". She has made several since, and they are looking pretty good!

Easter presents from Brenda!

Here is Jazzy opening an Easter present from Brenda, Tim and Margie:) She ran in the door and saw the box addressed to her and wanted to open it right away. I wouldn't let her open it until she did her homework- otherwise, the homework never would have been done. Mean mommy! It was definitely a way to get her to do her homework in 10 minutes- which is how it's supposed to be done- rather than spending the whole night on it! Thanks Brenda:)) Uh oh!- make up:)

St. Patrick's Day!

At the rink on St. Patty's day. Here is Jasmine forcing a smile when she was actually sick. She was whining and complaining - which is not unusual- so I didn't think anything of it. About an hour later, I found her collapsed on a table at the rink with a really bright red face and temp of 103. She got to spend a couple days at home. A week later, she still has quite a cough going on.
