Wax Museum

Every year, CEE has a "wax museum". Each child pretends to be a wax figure. When someone pushes their button, they have a one minute speech (which was supposed to have been memorized- not in our case) for the person to listen to. Jasmine's class was "Arizona Symbols" and Jazzy was the Arizona flag. The Arizona Bufo ranus frog and two Arizona flags:) Talking to a girl from the 2nd grade, although Jasmine was looking down the whole time because she refused to memorize her talk- as she was supposed to:( Mrs. Swane's 4th grade class consisting of a bobcat, sunshine, citrus, a copper miner, a couple of flags, the frog, a couple rattlesnakes, a lizard or two, a saguaro cactus, a palo verde tree and a cotton ball:))

Saturday Ceramics Class....

Jazzy has a Saturday afternoon Ceramics class at Tempe Community Center. I seem to be collecting all kinds of little cups, jars and pumpkins!

At Grandma's house this week!

Shopping at the market. Jazzy got 4 pumpkins and painted faces on all of them. They're all in front of Grandma's house now. Jazzy put together a Snoopy puzzle that had been sitting on Grandma's shelf for 15 years!

CCC Concert...

Chandler Children's Choir "Dreams of the West" first concert of the season- on Jazzy's birthday. They did sing Happy Birthday to her! Eating sack dinner with friends out in the courtyard:)

Pirates and Princess day and dance....

Today was "Pirates and Princesses" day at school. Right about this time every year, CEE has a themed day and evening dance. Last year was a western theme. Tonight is pirates and princesses. Only "problem" is , parents have to go this year:). I think that last year I just "dropped her off". I'm betting that most of the other parents dropped their kids off too, so now parents are required to go. Princess dress this morning. Apparently, the princess dress was "too scratchy", so we're wearing something else tonight:) Ready for the party! Lots of fun...going from room to room making princess crowns, necklaces, coloring pirates, At the pirate tatoo station... Getting nails done with Elsa:) Then off to a long "treasure hunt" that ended up in a huge overly crowded "bouncy house" in which we did not partake!
